Re'vyn
Re’vyn is a native of South Carolina who was born and raised in the United States. Her love of culture and community, which was ingrained in her from an early age by her grandmother, inspired her to pursue an education in international studies. This allowed her to have a deeper understanding of not just her own culture and community but also those of people all over the world. The outcomes of these studies were an A.A. with an accompanying Certificate in Applied Science in International Business, as well as a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on Global Business and Economics and a minor in World History.
Having come from a community where so many were in need but so few resources and outreach were available, she joined Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, whose mission is to serve on campuses and in the community to address local, national, and global needs. As a member of the organization, Re’vyn has been able to do outreach not only in the communities of her home state of South Carolina but also in the nearby states of Georgia and Florida.
After returning to school to acquire her M.S. in Business Data Analytics, she focused her efforts on offering resources to help other African American women in technology advance in their fields, where they remain an underrepresented and marginalized minority. Re’vyn’s current priorities are to advance her career, give back to her community in the United States, and participate in global initiatives such as Wombmen Worldwide.
